NEW
TVAN UPGRADE
At
Track Trailer we receive a lot of feed back from our owners. This is
recorded and the trends are identified in certain areas. A program to
upgrade product specification is instigated. This causes constant minor
changes to meet customer satisfaction. Some of the recent upgrades are out
lined below.
New
Tvan kitchen.
The
kitchen retains the functional bench area, sink and cutlery drawer of the
old kitchen, but replaces the glass top Cramer stove with a Swift 2 burner
stove.
The
benefits of the new stove include:
- Doubling of
the heat output of the burners from 5 MJ to 10 MJ. This decreases
cooking times and gives better wind resistance.
- Wider burner
spacing which allows the use of larger cookware – great for cooking for
families.
- New long rear
windshield for better wind protection.
- A removable
non-stick BBQ plate for cooking on.
- One large and
one smaller burner (both 10MJ) for more versatility when cooking.

New
Tvan deck leg handles.
The old type straight deck leg handles have been up graded to new ratchet
type handles that allow the handle to be positioned in a downward position
once tightened, to reduce the likely hood of clothing getting hooked on
them and to allow for easier storage. They also allow for easier
adjustment on extremely uneven ground. The rest of the leg remains the
same so upgrading older vans is easy.

New
Tvan hand pump
The Trojan plunger style hand pump at the rear of the Tvan has been
replaced by a Lowboy diaphragm pump.
This gives a more streamlined appearance as they don’t stick out like the
previous pump and eliminates any issues of wiring damage in the area below
the pump. It also brings the standard pump in line with the optional front
tank pump for a more integrated package.
The outlet spout can be rotated to the desired position for use.
The new pump also has the added benefit of a hose attachment at the bottom
to allow caravan park water to be used directly from this pump instead of
the tank water.
