THE ROADS. Road conditions will vary from highways, formed dirt roads (with corrugations) to national park tracks. Due to the location some dirt roads are subject to closure after rain. Alternate routes may need to be taken or locations cancelled.

CAMPING. Campsites will range from caravan parks, national parks with some facilities, to bush campsites with no facilities. At all campsites fires are only to be lit depending on local, caravan park or national park rules. Firewood is available for purchase at Mungo National Park.

Due to the previous wet conditions camping in Kinchega National Park (Menindee) is presently limited. The Emu Lake campsite has just seven sites, there may be more sites opened by September. If not, there are free campsites along Lake Pamamaroo that may need to be used.
