Luke Sutton at Drifta Kitchens has moved into a new area of the business with the release of the Drifta Cape York Trailer. The concept is based on a 6foot by 4foot off road trailer with a Hannibal rooftop tent on top which is raised to 1950mm high on electric actuators. Not one tentpole or peg is needed to setup the camping accommodation.

There is no setup time with the lightweight design making for a quick camp & a small setup footprint. It is just a simple matter of flipping the Hannibal rooftop tent over & raising the it via a switch. It is the ultimate tourer camper. A full tent/room can be zipped on under the foldout tent section with an awning over the Drifta kitchen which pulls out the back. More awning space is planned for the future.

The trailer comes with electric brakes, water tank & 12volt pump, battery, led lights and room to carry a dinghy, kayaks or bikes on top of the trailer under the tent.
