Trailer Wheel Alignment

Post by Old Crow » Wed May 18, 2016 6:50 pm

I have an 11 year old Trak Shak. In recent times it hasn't been tracking as smoothly as it used to. Prior to an 8000km trip at Xmas time I took it to Trak Shak in Sydney who spent time and money doing a wheel alignment. To my disappointment it is no better or perhaps even worse.

Does anyone know a trailer alignment expert preferably in the Newcastle area of if necessary I am willing to travel to Sydney?

Thanks for any ideas.
Peter

Hi Peter,

You could try Newcastle Truck & Bus Wheel Alignment at Cardiff.

If the tyres are wearing on the inside, the axle could be bent???

I don't think so Rob - it has trailing arm independent suspension - but I am sure something must be very wrong with it. thanks for tip about Newcastle Truck & Bus. I think I will give them a try.

Hi Rob,
I went over to see them and I was impressed that they seem to really know what they are talking about and I have it booked in for June 21. Let's hope they can get it sorted.

Thanks for your advice.
Peter
