When we setup our camp kit a few years back the LED options were quite expensive so we ended up getting a couple of 12v fluoro lights. We use one under the annex and another in the tent itself. The tent one isn't that bright but provides more than enough light, has a fold out metal hook and magnets on the back. The annex one is quite bright and lights up the whole annex area nicely. hang it up using cable ties. We do have an LED strip which we use above the kitchen for focused task lighting and a small LED light which is used next to the bed.
I find the LEDs provide quite a focused light while the fluoros are more diffused.
