Just a quick question, does anyone know if the road from Sandy Hollow to Bylong thru the Goulburn River NP is open?. Seem to remember someone mentioning previously that there were some road closures by the NP in this area.
We are looking to travel thru Dungog, Gresford, Singo and then turn off the Golden Hwy at Sandy Hollow for Bylong and onto Old Barra.

Hi Greg,

The road through the Bylong Valley (Bylong Valley Way) off the Golden Highway near Sandy Hollow & over Coxy's Pass to Bylong is a public road.

There is a trail that goes through the Goulburn River National Park off the Golden Highway west of Merriwa over Lees Pinch. It starts out as Ringwood Road, then turns into Wollar Road coming out east of Wollar.

There used to be a trail off Ringwood Road that went to the Big River Camping Area in Goulburn River NP through private property, but it has been now been fenced.
