Hi all, were thinking about buying a cordless drill for my parents to make it easier for them to wind up/down the rood & stabiliser legs. Is there a suitable high torque type drill available from Bunnings/Masters etc that is suitable for this, without costing a fortune. Also, the socket type adaptions required to make this work, are they available in stores/online or just maybe weld some rio onto a socket???
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Hi moseyroc,
A few members have 18volt cordless drills they use to wind the roof up on their campers & also to wind the stabiliser legs down. I do not know the socket size.
Some members have converted old 12volt cordless battery drills with a 12volt lead so they can be connected to the camper trailer or vehicle battery. Don't have to worry about recharging the battery this way.

Tried it with a 24v drill. Either goes up so fast it will soon enough destroy the system, or if you try to ease it up, the drill starts to smoke.
