hi all,im in the finishing stage of my camper rebuild i require new gas struts on the hard floor i have incressed over all weight of the floor around 60-80 kg old struts 830x710 help in choosing the right gas strut, thank you to all,gee i miss my camping,brian

Hi Brian,

The Caravan Plus website has a detailed page showing how to select the right gas strut for your needs https://www.caravansplus.com.au/catalog/help-struts.php

If the weight is too heavy for your bathroom scales to find the N strength of the strut, you could use the same method to find the ball weight of a trailer by weighing at the one third point of a length of wood. Then times the result by three for the correct weight.
