Hi,
I'm going through the never ending process of trying to choose a camper trailer and have been thinking about all the options offered by all the brands.
I would think options/upgrades is where brands make good $$, so I've been thinking if I would be better off buying the base camper that I like and then do any upgrades / add options elsewhere?
What would be better and more cost effective? Would the warranty of the camper be voided if I do some upgrades elsewhere?
Thanks for your help in advance!

Re: Camper Trailer Options - Cheaper direct with manufacture
If you enjoy doing things yourself there are plenty of dollars to be saved by building your own pullout kitchen & storage, installing a battery, DC to DC charger & 12volt system, plus many more jobs. You will find the tech tips page a good source of how to go about just about any project around the camper trailer http://www.campertrailers.org/tech_tips.htm as well as the my camper page http://www.campertrailers.org/my_camper.htm
Even better you may be able to pick up a preloved camper trailer with all the bells & whistles within budget.
