Members & their friends are invited to attend the next members weekend at Lake Wallace NSW

If you wish to attend please add your name in the form provided.

An ice-breaker e-mail will be sent to the address you have registered your interest on the form two weeks before the meet. Please reply to confirm your attendance.

 

YOUR HOSTS for the weekend will be Geoff & Pauline.

WHERE. Lake Wallace Recreational Area, Wallerawang, NSW.

WHEN. On the weekend of Saturday 16th & Sunday the 17th March 2019.

GETTING THERE. From Lithgow follow the Great Western Highway west & at approx. 14kms turn right into Barton Avenue towards Wallerawang. At approx. 1.8km turn right into Lake Wallace Recreational Area.

CAMPING. The group will be camping in the area marked on the map below not far from the amenities with shady trees.

ARRIVAL. Your hosts will be arriving on Friday morning.

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. There is no need to book. If you would like to attend just add your name to the form provided. The address of the form can be found in message 82738 within the Australian CamperTrailers Yahoo Group, the Australian CamperTrailers forum under the Upcoming Events heading or in the Australian CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing Lake Wallace into the search this group window.

 

 

CAMPING FEES. Camping is free.

POWER. There are no powered sites.

CAMPFIRES. Campfires in containers only.

AMENITIES. There are flushing toilets and showers. Council has resumed the previous policy of locking the facilities from 4pm to 7am because of vandalism. This will be reviewed again.

PORTABLE TOILET. Please bring your portable toilet or use the two public toilets only a two minute drive away at Wallerawang in Daintree Lane or the Shell Service Station.

DRINKING WATER. Taps with drinking water in the grounds.

DUMP POINT. There is a dump point within the grounds.

DOGS are welcome & must be on a lead at all times & droppings collected. There is a leash free area in the recreational area.

RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.

ACTIVITIES. Communal happy hour on Saturday afternoon at 4.00pm Please bring your table, chairs, nibbles & drinks along to the centre of the camping area for a combined happy hour, meeting those you have not chatted with so far over the weekend.

INFORMATION. Lake Wallace is ideal for use of all non-powered water craft.
It is only a ten minute walk  into Wallerawang town centre for a meal or extra supplies.

Come sit & relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such is the camaraderie.

You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing. You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.

Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together. If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
