WHEN.
During the week from Monday 28th September to Friday 2nd October 2015.
WHERE. Gulgong Showground, corner Grevillea Street &
Guntawang Streets, Gulgong NSW.
DISTANCE.
Gulgong is
300km from Sydney, 890km from Melbourne, 850km from Brisbane &
1300km from Adelaide.
GETTING
THERE. Gulgong is located on the New South Wales Central
Tablelands along the Castlereagh Highway
between the towns of Dunedoo & Mudgee, east of Dubbo.
ARRIVING EARLY.
If you arrive early it would be helpful if you
stayed at the Henry
Lawson Caravan Park while things are being prepared for the
Friday gates open.
TIMES.
Gates to the Gulgong Showground will be open from 10am
on Friday 25th September.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If
you would like to attend please register via online attendance form.
You will receive an email to your nominated email address to confirm
your registration.
COST.
The cost is per camper trailer regardless of the number of
people. If you stay for seven nights you only pay for six.
Powered Sites. $20 per
night
Unpowered Sites. $15 per night
POWERED
SITES.
Power for medical reasons will be first taken
into account. Please tick the
appropriate box in the online attendance form.
POWER LEADS. Please ensure your 15amp power leads
are presented in a safe usable condition & are
to be of one continuous length with no made up 15amp to 10amp
adaptors used.
PAYMENT.
Camping fees are payable to Rob & Carol on arrival at camp. The correct money would be
helpful.
CONTACT ON ARRIVAL.
On arrival into the showground please give Rob, Kevin or
Jason
a call (calling campertrailers) on the groups official UHF channel 18 so they can welcome you
& direct you to a suitable
campsite.
ADMIN FEE.
There will be an admin fee of
$10 to cover the cost of the 'showbag' which contains a
commemorative national meet sticker & the printing of lanyard
style name tags holders,
laminated camper ID sheets, itinerary & attendance sheets etc.
FIREWOOD.
Please bring some firewood along. Firewood will be supplied from
Sunday evening for the week. Don't forget your block splitter.
FIRES only in
the bins provided.
WATER. Town
drinking water is available from all taps.
SHOWER. There are two mens & ladies hot showers available
in the amenities block. It would be an advantage to use your own
shower.
TOILETS.
There are flushing toilets in the amenities block.
WHEELCHAIR
AMENITIES ACCESS.
There is a toilet & shower available for wheelchair access.
DUMP POINT.
There is a dump point within the showgrounds.
LAUNDRY. Gulgong Laundrette, Corner White & Queens Street,
Gulgong
DOGS must be kept on a leash at all times & droppings collected.
RUBBISH
Bins are provided.
PHONES. There
is Telstra, Optus & Vodafone mobile phone coverage.
