are invited to attend the groups 15th national meet
please fill in the
attendance form found under the making arrangements heading
WHEN. From Monday 30th September to Friday 4th October 2019.
WHERE.
Bonalbo Showground,
Bonalbo, NSW.
GETTING THERE. Bonalbo is
located on the Clarence Way, off the Bruxner Highway between
Tenterfield on the New England Highway in the Great Dividing Range &
Ballina on the Pacific Highway along the coast.
DISTANCES. Bonalbo is 760km from Sydney,
190km from
Brisbane, 1648km from Melbourne & 1863km from Adelaide.
BONALBO
SHOWGROUND.
The showground is located off the main street Woodenbong Road,
adjacent to Cope Street on the northern end of town.
TIMES.
Gates to the Bonalbo Showground will be
open from 10am on Friday 27th September. Due to insurance issues
there is no camping before gates open. If you arrive early there is
the nearby Bonalbo Tourist Park & Camping Ground.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If
you would like to attend please register via the
online attendance form.
You will receive an email to your nominated email address to confirm
your registration.
COST.
The cost is per camper trailer regardless of the number of
people. If you stay for seven nights you only pay for six.
Powered Sites. $20 per
night
Unpowered Sites. $15 per night
POWERED
SITES.
Please consider your power requirements as there are only a
limited number of 10amp & 15amp power outlets available. Power for medical reasons will be first taken
into account. The rest will be on a first in basis. Please tick the
appropriate box in the online attendance form.
POWER LEADS. Please
bring long leads & ensure your power lead
is presented in a safe usable condition. Please note all leads are
only to be used in one continuous length from the outlet to the camper trailer
or caravan. No illegal made up 15amp to 10amp
adaptors are to be used.
GENERATORS.
Only to be used in extreme circumstances & by permission.
CONTACT ON ARRIVAL.
On arrival into the showground please give Rob, Kevin or
Jason
a call (calling campertrailers) on UHF channel 18.
PAYMENT.
Camping fees are payable to Rob & Carol on arrival. The correct money
in cash would be
helpful. You will then be directed to a suitable campsite.
ADMIN FEE.
There will be an admin fee of
$10 to cover the cost of the 'showbag' which contains a
commemorative national meet sticker & the printing of lanyard
style name tags holders,
laminated camper ID sheets, itinerary & attendance sheets etc.
FIREWOOD. Firewood will be supplied for the week. Don't forget your block splitter.
FIRES only to
be lit in containers. Half forty-four gallon fire bins with be provided.
WATER.
Town drinking water is available.
SHOWER. Hot showers are available
at the amenities block. You are more than welcome to use your own
bush shower.
TOILETS.
There are flushing toilets in the amenities block.
WHEELCHAIR
AMENITIES ACCESS.
There is wheelchair access to a disabled shower & toilet.
DUMP POINT.
There is a dump point in the showground.
DOGS must be kept on a leash at all times & droppings collected.
RUBBISH
Bins are provided.
