YOUR HOST for the weekend will be Rob & Carol.

WHERE. Old Bara, 631 Bara Road, Bara, NSW an 1100 acre property which runs 100% grass feed beef. http://www.campinmudgee.com.au

WHEN. Over the Easter long weekend of Good Friday 30th March to Easter Monday 2nd April 2018. You are more than welcome to arrive before or leave after Easter as you wish.

GETTING THERE. The Old Bara property is located between Mudgee and Rylstone off the Lue Road. http://www.campinmudgee.com.au/#!where-are-we/c1q62

from Bylong Valley Way, the Lue Road is approx 4km north of Rylstone. After approx 28km along Lue Road turn right into Hayes Gap Road.

from Mudgee, follow Ulan Road out of town for approx half a km & turn right at the roundabout into Lue Road. After approx 19.5km turn left into Hayes Gap Road.

Hayes Gap Road. Follow this road & turn right into Bara Road after 2.1km. Follow Bara Road for approx 6.3km where you will see a sign pointing to the house on your left. Please drive to the house & register on arrival.

THE ROAD is gravel off the Lue Road & well maintained. It can be dusty at times so please reduce speed.

CAMPING. We will be camping in a large open grassed paddock not too far from the very clean longdrop loos.

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If you would like to attend you will need to make a deposit to secure your site by contacting Old Bara on 02 6373 6555 & then add your name to the attendance form provided. The address of the form can be found in message 82539 within the Australian CamperTrailers Yahoo Group, the Australian CamperTrailers forum under the Upcoming Events heading or in the Australian CamperTrailers Facebook Group typing 'Bara' in the search this group window.

 

 

 

 

 

 

CAMPING FEES. $25 per campsite per night.

ON ARRIVAL. Please follow the signs to the house on the property from Bara Road to register on arrival. You will then be directed to the campsite.

LATE ARRIVALS. If you intend to arrive after 9pm please make arrangements with Old Bara owners Richard & Sally by contacting them on 02 6373 6555.

Sorry no day trippers are allowed on the property.

NAME TAGS. If you have a name tag please bring it along.

 
 
 

POWER. There are no powered sites.

WATER. There is creek water available at the loos for washing, showering etc.

DRINKING WATER. There is drinking water available at the house for $5 a jerry.

CAMPFIRES are allowed as directed by the property owners depending of fire bans & conditions.

FIREWOOD. We can collect fallen wood on the property as directed by Richard. You are more than welcome to bring your chainsaw.

TOILETS. There are two very clean long drop toilets available. Please feel free to use your own portable toilet if you wish. Please do not empty waste down the longdrops.

DUMP POINTS. Nearest dump points are at Mudgee Riverside Caravan Park & Tourist Park, 22 Short Street, Mudgee or Rylstone Caravan Park, 6 Carswell Street, Rylstone.

SHOWERS. Please bring your own bush shower.

DOGS are welcome & must be kept on a leash at all times as this is a working cattle property.

RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.

OUTINGS. There are no planned group outings. You are free to explore the property or the surrounding area as you wish. There are weekend markets at Mudgee.

HAPPY HOUR. Communal happy hour at 4.00pm on Saturday. Bring your table, chairs, nibbles & drinks along to the center of camp for a combined happy hour, meeting those you have not chatted with so far over the weekend.
