YOUR HOST for the weekend will be David Pederick &

WHEN. Labour Day Long Weekend 6th, 7th and 8th
March 2010 .
WHERE. Rosebud, Victoria. Rosebud is on the
Mornington Peninsula approx 75 Km from Melbourne CBD.
DISTANCE. Rosebud is on the Mornington Peninsula
approx. 75 Km from Melbourne CBD.
GETTING THERE. From Melbourne take the Freeway to
Frankston then the Mooruduc Highway and Mornington Peninsula Freeway to Jetty
Road Rosebud. Further instructions will be sent in the Ice Breaker email.
CAMPING. This is a bush camp. The campsite is on a
70 acre private property at Rosebud. The group will have the use of a large
grassed area beside a dam. (The water is not suitable for drinking). There are
no facilities other than trees.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS.
There are special requirements in attending this meet.

CAMPFIRES.
There will be one communal fire subject to a permit being obtained from the CFA
FIREWOOD There is ample firewood available.
WATER.
There is no drinking water available. Please bring an adequate supply.
SHOWER. There are no showers available, please
bring a camp shower or make arrangements at one of the many caravan parks.
TOILETS. There are no toilets available, please
bring your own chemical toilet.
DOGS are welcome as long as they are contained, not
running around loose and droppings collected.
Things to do: Visit the beaches of Port Phillip Bay or the surf beaches,
go wine tasting, tour the many galleries, visit the farmers market, take a bush
walk or just sit around the campfire and relax.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
