Members are invited to attend a group get together on the Upper Shoalhaven River NSW

Strictly 12 members only camper trailers. If you would like to attend please add your name to the poll.  

An ice-breaker e-mail will be sent to the address you have registered your interest in the poll two weeks before the meet. Please reply to confirm your attendance & receive directions to the camp.
 

 

         


YOUR HOST for the weekend will be Allan & Mary Anne Randahl.

WHERE. In state forest on the Upper Shoalhaven River, NSW South Coast.

WHEN. On the weekend of Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th of February. Your hosts will be arriving on the Friday & will stay on till the Monday if required.

CAMPING. A  group of strictly 12 members only camper trailers will be bush camping on the banks of the Upper Shoalhaven River on the NSW South Coast. 

PLEASE NOTE. This camp area is accessed by 4wd only along a sandy trail. Gates to be left shut at all times.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS. There are special requirements in attending this meet.
◊ Open to members only because of restricted numbers.
◊ The first 12 names on the poll will only be excepted.
◊ 4wd access only.
◊ Trail is narrow & winding & not suitable for caravans.
◊ You will need to bring your own drinking water.
◊ You will need to bring your own portable toilet or a shovel.
◊ Gates to be left shut at all times.

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. Because of restricted numbers this camp is open to members only.

GETTING THERE. The campsite location & map will be sent to those who reply to ice breaker.

THE ROAD. 4wd access only along a narrow winding sandy track. Your host will have UHF18 open.

CAMPSITES. Camp restricted to 12 members only camper trailers.

CAMPING FEES. Free

POWER. There are no powered sites.

WATER. Please bring your own drinking water. There is freshwater river water for other uses.

TOILETS. Please bring your own portable toilet or a shovel to make your own bush loo.

SHOWERS. Please bring your own bush shower.

CAMPFIRES. Campfires are allowed.

FIREWOOD. Firewood can be collected on site.

CHAINSAWS. Chainsaws not permitted.

GENERATORS. Generators not permitted.

DOGS. No dogs allowed.

RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.


ACTIVITIES. Swimming, fishing competition, gold fossicking, canoeing, bushwalks.

Communal happy hour 4.00pm Bring your table, chairs, nibbles & drinks along to the center of the camping area for a combined happy hour each evening.

Come sit & relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such is the camaraderie.

Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.

If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
