Members & their friends are invited to attend the next SE Qld members weekend at Andrew Drynan Park If you wish to attend

poll YOUR HOSTS for the weekend will be Alan & Kathy. WHERE. Andrew Drynan Park is 47km from Beaudesert and 19km from Rathdowney. The park is divided by the Lions Road and care should be taken with children. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp among the tall trees. As some of the pools are deep, children should be supervised. GETTING THERE. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours On the Lions Road, south of Beaudesert, on Running Creek. At Rathdowney turn left into Running Creek Rd. Park located on Running Creek approximately 17km south east of Rathdowney WHEN. On the weekend from Friday 16th to Sun 18th November. THE ROAD. The road is all bitumen. CAMPING. We will be bush camping with minimum facilities. COST. $5.00 adults, $2.00 children, $15.00 family. WATER. Please bring your own drinking water. Non-potable water is available. CAMPFIRES. Campfires are allowed. Wood is available from the Ranger @ $10 per bag. TOILETS. Flush. Ladies 2 pedestals, gents 1 pedestal, I urinal SHOWER. There are no showers available. A dip in the creek will keep you clean. Please don’t use soap or detergent. PETS. must be kept on a leash at all times. POWER. There are no powered sites. BOOKING. Individual bookings are not necessary. Your hosts will advise numbers to park management. INFORMATION.
