WHEN. On the weekend from Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th May 2025.
GATES OPEN.
Gates will be open for your arrival on Thursday 22nd.
Departure & gates locked on
Wednesday 28th May.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.

CAMPING FEES PAYMENT. Please
give your fees to Mike & Robyn.
CAMPING FEES. $5
per person a day.
DAY FEES. $5
for day visitors.
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
CAMPFIRES are allowed.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along.
AMENITIES. There are toilets and showers - basic
but adequate like most scout facilities.
DOGS are welcome & must be on a lead at all
times, droppings collected.
WARNING This is adjacent to a working cattle
property. The farmer does NOT tolerate dogs annoying his livestock - he has been
known to shoot stray pet dogs.
RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.
ACTIVITIES. Bring your kayak. It is about 15 minutes to Gatton or Lowood
(different directions) for a newspaper, the pub & local farmer's produce.
Friday evening 'Blokes Bring It' Males are invited to prepare the evening
meal for their partner. This is not compulsory.
Early Christmas theme communal meal Saturday lunch. Although not compulsory, it is proposed that we all join in
a communal meal for Saturday night. Participants are encouraged to provide
typical food for a Christmas buffet meal and to dress in the Christmas theme.
The food would be placed in a common area for all to share. Please nominate the
starters, main or dessert dish you will be preparing on the attendance form. Also if
everyone could chip in a few dollars towards a ham.
Secret Santa. Also if you would like to bring a secret Santa surprise
gift of an opp shop item under $10. This is not compulsory.
Morning tea
time to be organised in camp.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
