CAMPING. We will be camping on a flat lush green
grassed area next to Christmas Creek.
ARRIVING & DEPARTING.
Please feel free to stay as long as you wish, arriving before or departing after
the weekend.
GETTING THERE. Travel south from Beaudesert on the Mount Lindsey
Highway for around 14 kilometres & turn left into Christmas Creek Road at
Laravale. Follow Christmas Creek Road for approx 20 kilometres to Burgess Park
on your right just before you cross Christmas Creek on the Lamington Bridge. GPS

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.
Just add your name to the
poll. Camping fees to be
paid to the ranger over the weekend.
NAME TAGS.
If you have a name tag please bring it along.
CAMPING FEES. $6 per person per night, $3 child per
night & $17 a family per night
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
GENERATORS.
Limited use of generators are ok.
WATER. Please
bring your own drinking water.
CAMPFIRES. Small campfires are allowed in the fire
pits provided. No fires are to be lit on the ground.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along.
TOILETS. There are flushing toilets. Please bring
you own paper.
SHOWERS. There are no showers. Please bring your
own shower along.
DOGS are welcome & must be kept on a leash at all
times.
RUBBISH. Bins are provided.
FACILITIES.
There a some shelters with table & bench seats
MORNING TEA.
Please bring a plate along for morning tea at 10am on
Saturday.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together. If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
