WHERE. At Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds
located 15 kilometres SE of Gympie in southeast Queensland

WHEN. On the Easter weekend from Friday 18th to Monday the
21st of April 2014.
CAMPING. We will be bush camping in informal
campsites.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.
No need to book, just add your name to the
poll.
Bianca will let them know numbers attending.
POLL CLOSING DATE.
Poll will close on the 21st January to allow camp ground managers to
organise a location for the group to camp together. Please let us know if you
are unable to attend.
GETTING THERE. If travelling from Brisbane, Cobb & Co Nine Mile
Camping Ground is best found by turning right into Tandur Road at Kybong,
22km south of Gympie. Follow Tandur Road for approx. 5.85 kilometres & then turn
right into Noosa Road. The front entrance to Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping Ground
is only a very short distance with the front gates clearly marked with the sign.
CAMPING FEES. $12 per night for adults and $7 for
kids.
NAME TAGS.
If you have a name tag please bring it along.
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
GENERATORS.
The use of generators is allowed.
WATER. Please bring your own drinking water.
CAMPFIRES. Small campfires are allowed in the fire
pits provided.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along. Wood is
available for $15 for a large wheel barrow full.
BBQ. Free gas BBQ available for use.
TOILETS. There are flushing toilets available.
SHOWERS. Hot showers in the amenities block or
bring your own if you don’t wish to walk to them.
DOGS are welcome & must be kept on a leash at all
times.
RUBBISH. There are rubbish bins provided.
Communal happy hour 2.00pm Please bring along some munchies to share.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together. If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
