THE ROAD. The road is suitable for all vehicles including 2wds.

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. Bookings are essential & you do need to book as early as possible as campsites are limited. Please contact Sandra at Glendon to make a booking letting her know you are with the CamperTrailers Group.                              Phone: (07) 46674756 or via email.

  • Please note that arrivals to the property are after 7.30am but strictly before 8.00pm.

  • Departure is by 12 noon.

  • All vehicles are required to register on arrival at Main House (red roof).

The powered & unpowered sites are separated by a small creek bed, currently dry, a distance of approx 50 metres.

CAMPFIRES. Each campsite has its own stone fireplace with BBQ plate.

FIREWOOD. can be purchased for $6 per load approx. wheelbarrow size. Glendon does not allow bonfires and chainsaws are not permitted on the property. If guests would like to bring their own firewood, that is ok, however it must be in small lengths of no longer than 12inches.

TOILETS. Flushing toilets available.

SHOWERS. Hot showers available.

DOGS. are allowed with just a couple of requirements.  All dogs must be kept on a lead/runner and be restrained at all times (including at camp), and owners are required to pick up after them.

FACILITIES. The Kiosk stocks bread, milk, ice and a few other basic grocery items plus laundry facilities. No credit card/eftpos available.

THINGS TO DO. There are numerous activities to do whilst staying 4WDriving, fishing, golf, gold panning, bushwalking, bird watching, canoeing/kayaking (byo) or simply relaxing at camp.

Suggestions for weekend. Nothing special planned yet for workshops but there will be the usual morning tea gathering on the Saturday at 10am and happy hour at 5pm.

Any other ideas would be welcome.

You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.

You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.

Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.

If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
