Before someone links this to climate change it is not all that unusual.
There were sightings of crocs in Deception Bay for many years in the 60s AFAIR.
In addition there is a report of sightings in the Albert river in AFAIR the 1930s.

I remember in the late 80's or early 90's a game boat off Port Stephens caught a large tiger shark. When they got it on board it regurgitated a partly digested head of a small croc.
