Hi All,
Bought myself a second hand MDC 01. Have a few things to fix up. Changed the springs and have to give the water tank a good clean out.
However, I also have a cracked waste water tube from the kitchen sink. I am struggling to find a replacement. Can anyone assist? I have a pic of it but unsure how to attach. It is white corrugated plastic with screw fitting that attaches to bottom of drain.
Thanks in advance. Can't wait to start reading through the topics here as I am fairly new to trailers.
Cheers,
Joe

Hi Joe,
Congratulations of the purchase of your camper trailer. You will find plenty of interesting reading on the http://www.campertrailers.org website & in particular the Tech Tips page.
How to post photos can be found in the forum help section under the 'posting photos 101' heading http://www.campertrailers.org/group/vie ... p?f=3&t=13
You can clean your water tank using colloidal silver or hydrogen peroxide. Directions can be found on the BEST Water Filter website http://www.bestwaterfilters.com.au/tank-cleaning/
We have been using a BEST Water Filter for a few years now so we know our drinking water is save http://www.campertrailers.org/best_water_filters.htm
I set up a 12volt water pump to transfer water from the jerrys to the tank via the filter http://www.campertrailers.org/robs_water_transfer.htm

Re: Waste hose
Hi Joe,
I have a MDC 05 ; sometimes wish I had the smaller 01 when I erect it on my own !!
Had the same problem with the waste pipe ;( my fault, twisted it when packing) ; I made a new hole directly under the sink drain and use some pretty firm pipe attached to a threaded section to screw onto the sink drain. It goes straight down , no kinks to hold water ! Just have to remember to remove it before I move the tailgate!! Got the bits from the green shed , bunnings.....

G'day Joe,
I think you will find corrugations are only on the outside and the inside is smooth. Sounds like standard caravan wast drain. Available most caravan accessories places.
Regards
Ian
