Old jayco dove perspex windows

I've accidentally poked a hole in the perspex about the size of a cigarette packet, smaller. I'm thinking I'll put a small patch over it, I'm wondering if anyone else has done something similar and what glue did you use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
