Hi all,
Looking for some ideas on removing my canvas tent from my trailer as i would like to use it for wood cutting in the winter and reattach the tent in the spring to autumn period. Any ideas would be appreciated. Looking for a lift and tow away sort of setup. I would like to add pics but having trouble doing so on my phone. Thanks

Re: Removing canvas tent from commando trailer.
Hi JBAGS89,
I removed the six bolts that secured the soft floor camper top to the trailer & bolted one in each corner of the camper trailer top for location pins. I bolted three over-center clamps on each side of the trailer & top to hold the camper top in position.
I made up a set of collapsable tressels for the camper top to sit one which are wider than the wheels. I use the hi lift jack to lift the camper top up at each end to clear the trailer & rest it on the tressels. The trailer can just wheel out from under the top. The tressels need wheels so the camper top can be easier located back onto the trailer.
Hope this helps.
