Waterproofing the Annex Roof.
The new old camper we just bought has an annex roof, that needs waterproofing. I am wondering what I can buy to do the job. The roof is a totally different colour to the rest of the tent on the camper, and is only really light material. Similar in colour and material to what early KK campers are made of. So looks like they, the previous owners adapted this annex roof to our camper. It does need waterproofing so what is out there that I can use to do that? Thanks for any info you guy's can offer.

Hi guys,
Waterproofing the canvas depends on the canvas type to the product that is used. You will find an overview of products available on the tech tips page http://www.campertrailers.org/removing_mould.htm

Re: Waterproofing the Annex Roof.
Thanks rob. I have not been too sure about using a water based proofer as did this once on 16 oz calico, and it only lasted one storm. We coated it 3 times, it dried in the sun, and it just washed away in the storm, so may go the waxed version one first.

Hi,
If you take the canvas to a canvas repairer, they may be able to tell you what brand it is so you can buy the correct waterproofing.
