camping with a baby in a Ultimate off road camper ?

Hi we are looking at buying a Ultimate offroad camper but my wifes concern is where to sleep baby with portacot? Has anyone with a Ultimate camped with a baby ?

We have an Ultimate but have only camped with the 2 of us. You would struggle to fit a portacot inside over night, or if you did you would have no floor space left.

Other options is to make the couch into a bed using the table and cushions and it is not too high if they fall out, or as you have a king size the child may be able to sleep up on tge main bed. The thing to remember is the baby will grow very quickly and before you know it they will be wanting to sleep outside in the tent underneath.

My concern with the ultimate would be the height off the ground
There doesn't look like much floor space, especially when it rains & you are all trapped inside
Have a look at something more like a Cub
They are a hard floor camper, with plenty of room for a cot etc when opened up
The other issue with the ultimate is as your baby grows, they will start to climb in & out of the ultimate
Which to me could be a safety concern

Hi, I am new here and I have just purchased a camper and this is really nice but unfortunately there is no option for a cot. Now what we did we adjust a table along with the bed and put some decorative cushions on it for the protection. I think its a good practice.
