Re: Bed Ladder Mod ?
Ig its your standard factory ladder. Get one cheap hollow centered pool noodles from go lo, reject shop etc Cut them to length and split them wrapping the around the rungs. The use a few zip ties and duct tap to hold them in place.

Re: Bed Ladder Mod ?
We did away with the ladder, to cold on body bits, narrow and it took a a lot of space.
I built two boxes so they formed two steps. The largest was about 650x 450mm and just high enough to fit in tray of the trailer, the other was about 250mm lower . The largest was easy find in the dark and to comfortably stand on. The larger was as our clothes box, it had a lift up lid and a draw and easily held a few days clothes. The smaller box was for pots and pans, when we set up camp the pots and pans sat on a shelf in the kitchen. The boxes were made out of marine ply and had non slip tape on top.
cheers Pete

We use a three step ladder with a rail at the top similar to this one at Office Works.
Just throw it on top of the bed during the day or when packed up.

We bought a similar one from Bunnings, mainly to help us "shorties" in erecting the annex. Will give that a try for the bed climb also...robcaz wrote:We use a three step ladder with a rail at the top similar to this one at Office Works.........
