Insured with RACQ $6500..... premium $105.03

Yep , RACQ , for a tad more , but buggar all extra premium !!!!


Little bro has his with RACQ too , had a couple of claims ( annexe was removed by wind in Tassie!!) had brilliant service ....

My Mars valued at $7500 insured with RACT ( Tassie) for $140 pa.

I have my MDC with CIL . $14,500.00 for $347.00.

Main Benefits if something happens to camp trailer.

Up to $1000.00 accommodation payment if waiting for repairs.

$1000.00 contents if stolen from locked compartments.

Will ship trailer home from anywhere in Aus if required.

If vehicle breaks down and is towed by NRMA for example , Towing of trailer will be paid by CIL. Trailer will not be left on side of Road.

And they flat trucked me from El Questro to Kununurra and towed my Camp'o'matic also, paid for 1 day in a cabin then paid the caravan Park fees for a week..

Yes you can get the NRMA Premium package or what they call it. If I remember it's about $ 170.00 , compared to standard NRMA at about $70.00 , can not remember the exact prices.

I'm already paying the insurance company so why pay the extra to the NRMA.

Just out of interest will the NRMA transport the Trailer home from anywhere in Australia ?.

My GIC is with CIL. I've never had to make a claim but they seem friendly enough! Good price for insurance too.
