As I've mentioned in another thread I'm looking at building my own 12 volt electrical system for our new Camper Trailer. I've spent hours and hours pouring over websites & forums and picked up some great ideas but there always seem to be something missing. So I thought I'd ask for specific help and ideas and see what else I can learn.
- 1. Where do you store your battery & 12 volt Electrical Systems?
2. How to you connect your 12 volt Accessories to that system?
Inside tent Lights, light switches, etc.
3. What do you use to run the wires from the battery box & electrical system throughout your camper trailers?
Electrical Conduit, Flex Tubing, Cable Ducting, Copper Pipe, etc?
If I were to use 6B&S cable from the Anderson plug that connects to the car to the battery box & electrical panel.
What size wire would (should) I use to wire up the fuse panel, light switches, merit plug sockets, cigarette plug sockets, USB plug sockets, Volt meter, Amp meter (if I fit one)?
Using 4 LED light strips & 4 individual switches, can I wire them all to the same fused plug in the fuse panel or is it better to have each one on it's own circuit?
There will probably more some more questions but that will do for now...
Here's a neat idea I found on a website this morning and I thought it might prove useful for you to see as well.

Cheers
