Lee & Susan's Rocky Ranger   

After spending 12 to 18 months looking at different camper trailer designs and ideas at various camping shows and showrooms we have just finished building our own custom made trailer.

It has taken Lee over 6 months to build our camper trailer which included quite a bit of trial and error along the way, changing plans etc. We were helped by a local Sheetmetal Fabricator, Westernport Sheetmetal Fabricators  and canvas works, Allsorts A Canvas.

We have fitted in a water tank underneath, (not plumbed yet), 6 leaf eye to eye springs, ORAC coupling, lock up boxes on both sides, with large general box on front of the A frame and electric brakes. The best part (my favourite) is the queen size inner spring mattress bed.

All the cooking gear is from the camping equipment we've collected over the years, primus stoves and other gas rings, luxury of 60 litre Engel Combo Fridge. The tail gate swings open and a table drops down off it. The camping gear is finished off with a couple of assorted showers, solar and 12 volt.
