Manning Point weekend
Saturday 14th to Sunday 15th February, 2026

Thirty-eight campers plus a delightful Riley (Shane & Kim’s granddaughter) and some furry friends and two day trippers attended the Weeroona Caravan Park, Manning Point meeting on the weekend of 12/15th February enjoying the bush/beach environment, hosted by Mal & Ros Currey.

Lots of walks along the beach, some successful fishing, camp fires, Valentines Day afternoon Tea and much chatting was undertaken.

Many thanks to those who attended and contributed to making this weekend an enjoyable meet. Especially the entertaining and often humorous sharing of personal partners meetings and budding relationships shared at the Valentines Day Afternoon Tea.

Scattered light showers over the weekend saw groups scurrying for cover but it did not dampen the chats under awnings.

Unfortunately the new ferry service to Harrington was not running due to tides and predicted rain. Perhaps an adventure for another camp!

An informal Friday afternoon gathering, Valentines Day Afternoon Tea through to the Sunday night dinner at the Bowling Club were all well attended.
