of Parkes & 100 kilometres north of West Wyalong.
DISTANCE.
Condobolin is
460km from Sydney, 1000km from
Brisbane, 680km from Melbourne & 1000km from Adelaide.
GETTING
THERE.
From Parkes turn west into Dalton Street - Route 90. This is
called Condobolin Road the further you travel along it.
In Condobolin, Condobolin Road is then called Parkes Road, then
Station Street & then Denison Street, but all still Route 90.
Turn right into Bathurst Street which is still Route 90.
Turn left into William Street. This is renamed Diggers Avenue after the
roundabout over the Lachlan River Bridge.
The Condobolin Sporting Centre is the first turn on your left after
the bridge.
From West Wyalong
Turn north into Ungarie Road which is then named Condobolin Wyalong
Road.
At Girral turn right to continue on Condobolin Wyalong Road.
Turn right onto Condobolin-Lake Cargelligo Road which is then
renamed Diggers Avenue in Condobolin.
Just before the Lachlan River Bridge turn right into the Condobolin Sporting
Centre.
CAMPING.
The group will have the use of a large grassed area between the
Lachlan River & playing fields with ample 240volt power.

special arrival & departure times. Members may arrive from Thursday 23rd September & depart no
later than lunchtime Sunday 3rd October. Outside these times
suitable accommodation can be found in the caravan park across the
road.

GENERATORS.
The use of generators will only be
permitted if the demand for genuine requirements of power exceeds
the number of outlets. We will be in touch with those who have
ticked the 240volt box on the attendance form before the meet to
ensure everyone gets the right outlet they require.
CONTACT ON ARRIVAL.
On arrival into the campsite area please give Ron, Kevin or Rob
a call on the groups official channel UHF18 so they can welcome you
& direct you to a suitable
campsite.
ADMIN FEE.
There will be an admin fee payable to the Groups co-owners of
between $5 - $10 to cover the cost of the 'showbag' which contains a
commemorative meet sticker & the printing of name tags, name tag holders,
laminated camper ID sheets, itinerary & attendance sheets etc.
RIVER WATER.
The
Lachlan River next to the camping area should not be
used for swimming or canoeing. Because the Wyangala Dam is extremely low,
the river is not flowing. A small quantity of water is released
from the dam a number of times during the year to keep the river
alive, but not enough for any flow beyond the weir at Condobolin.
Water in the river may present a health risk.
FIREWOOD
will be provided free of charge & cut to length by the Condobolin Lions
Club.
WATER. Town
drinking water is available from taps on site.
SHOWER. Hot showers are available.
TOILETS.
Flushing toilets are available.
LAUNDRY. A laundromat can be found in Condobolin with two washers
& dryers.
DOGS are welcome
as long as they are contained and
not running around loose and droppings collected.
