WHERE. At the Glen Innes Showground on the New South Wales Northern Tablelands.
DISTANCE.
Glen Innes is
620km from Sydney, 1380km from Melbourne, 370km from Brisbane &
1750km from Adelaide.
GETTING
THERE. Glen Innes is located at the intersection of the
New England & Gwydir Highways. The showground can be found off
Church Street (New England Highway) in Torrington Street.
TIMES.
Gates to the Glen Innes Showground will be open from 10am
on Friday 19th September.
ARRIVING EARLY.
If you arrive early accommodation can be found
at the Fossicker Caravan Park, the
Poplar Caravan Park or the
Glen
Rest Tourist Park in Glen Innes.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.You will
receive a confirmation e-mail letting you know your name & details have been placed on the
spreadsheet.
COST.
The cost is per camper trailer regardless of the number of
people.
Powered Sites. $20 per
night
Unpowered Sites. $15 per night
POWERED
SITES.
There is a mixture of 10amp & 15amp power outlets available around
the showground. Please indicate your preference when filling out the
online attendance form ie a 10amp power outlet is all you need to
run your 12/240volt fridge, while a 15amp outlet
is needed for a camper trailer or caravan 15amp inlet.
POWER LEADS.
Power leads must be presented in a safe usable condition & are
to be of one continuous length with no made up 15amp to 10amp
adaptors used.
PAYMENT.
Camping fees are payable to Rob & Carol on arrival at camp. The correct money would be
helpful.
CONTACT ON ARRIVAL.
On arrival into the showground please give Rob, Kevin or
Jason
a call (calling campertrailers) on the groups official UHF channel 18 so they can welcome you
& direct you to a suitable
campsite.
ADMIN FEE.
There will be an admin fee of
$10 to cover the cost of the 'showbag' which contains a
commemorative national meet sticker & the printing of lanyard
style name tags holders,
laminated camper ID sheets, itinerary & attendance sheets etc.
FIREWOOD
will be supplied by the Showground Trust & Glen Innes Mens Shed. Please bring your block splitter.
FIRES only in
the bins provided.
WATER. Town
drinking water is available from taps on site.
SHOWER. Hot showers are available from the amenities block.
TOILETS.
There are flushing toilets in the amenities block.
WHEELCHAIR
AMENITIES ACCESS.
There are toilets & showers available for wheelchair access.
DUMP POINT.
There is a
free dump point within the showgrounds.
LAUNDRY. The laundromat is at a new location in Bourke street
nextdoor to LJ Hooker.
DOGS must be kept on a leash at all times & droppings collected.
RUBBISH
Bins are provided.
PHONES. There
is Telstra & Optus mobile phone coverage.
