the group get together over the Easter long weekend at Old Bara NSW.
An

YOUR HOST for the weekend will be Rob & Carol
Sanderson.
WHERE. Old Bara, 631 Bara Road, Bara, NSW an 1100 acre property
which runs 100% grass feed beef. http://www.campinmudgee.com.au
WHEN. On the Easter long weekend of Friday 25th to
Monday 28th March 2016. You are more than welcome to arrive before & leave after
Easter.
GETTING THERE.
The
Old Bara property is located between Mudgee and Rylstone off the Lue Road.

from Bylong Valley Way, the Lue
Road is approx 4km north of Rylstone. After approx 28km along Lue Road turn
right into Hayes Gap Road.
from Mudgee, follow Ulan Road out
of town for approx half a km & turn right at the roundabout into Lue Road. After
approx 19.5km turn left into Hayes Gap Road.
Hayes Gap Road. Follow this road &
turn right into Bara Road after 2.1km. Follow Bara Road for approx 6.3km where
you will see a sign pointing to the house on your left. Please drive to the
house & register on arrival.
THE ROAD is gravel off the Lue Road & well
maintained.
CAMPING. We will be camping in a large open
paddock.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If

ICE BREAKER.
An ice breaker email will be sent to your
nominated email address two weeks before the weekend. Please confirm your
attendance.
CAMPING FEES.
$25 per campsite per night.
PAYMENT.
Please follow directions to the house from Bara Road to register on arrival. You
will then be directed to the campsite.
LATE ARRIVALS.
If you intend to arrive after 9pm please make arrangements with Old Bara owners
Richard & Sally. Contact details on the Old Bara website above.
Sorry no day trippers are allowed on the
property.
NAME TAGS.
If you have a name tag please bring it along.
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
WATER. There is creek water available at the loos
for washing, showering etc.
DRINKING
WATER. There is drinking water
available at $5 a jerry.
CAMPFIRES are allowed.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along. We can
collect fallen wood on the property as directed by Richard.
You are more than welcome to bring your
chainsaw.
TOILETS. There are three very clean long drop toilets
available.
Please feel free to use your own portable toilet if you wish. Please do not
empty the waste down the longdrops.
DUMP POINTS.
Nearest dump points are at Mudgee Riveside Caravan Park & Touirst Park, 22 Short
Street. Mudgee or Rylstone Caravan Park, 6 Carswell Street, Rylstone.
SHOWERS. Please bring your own bush shower.
DOGS are welcome & must be kept on a leash at all
times as this is a working cattle property.
RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.
TAGALONG.
Rob & Carol will lead a tagalong to
The Drip &
Hands on Rock
which are located between Ulan & the Golden
Highway on the Mudgee Road, departing at 9.00 am sharp Saturday. Please bring lunch with you.
HAPPY HOUR.
Communal happy hour at 3.00pm on Saturday. Bring your table, chairs, nibbles &
drinks along to the center of the camping area for a combined
happy hour, meeting those you have not chatted with so far over the
weekend.
BEEF ORDERS.
Grass feed beef orders
are available to order until Friday 26th February. Pick up on arrival.
