WHEN. The weekend
of Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th November 2015. You are more than
welcome to arrive before & leave after the weekend. Your hosts will

GETTING THERE. To
access the Benarkin State Forrest, the turn off to the park is
situated west of Moore and 3.5 km's east of Blackbutt on the
D'Aguilar Highway. From the turn off on the highway a scenic gravel
road leads a further 16 km down the range to the camping and day use
areas.
CAMPING. We will
be bush camping in a large open grassed area with minimum facilities
beside Emu Creek. A maximum of 60 persons are able to camp at
Clancys, therefore you will need to book early to ensure your
site. The majority of the campsite is flat or gentle sloping.
THE ROAD. The
steep and winding unsealed road is accessible by conventional
vehicles with care in all weather conditions, however caution is
required especially after rain. Beware of logging trucks. The final
16 kilometres to the camping area is via
winding gravel roads.
