YOUR HOSTS
for the weekend will be Geoff & Pauline.
WHERE. Spring Hill Recreation Ground,
Whiley Rd, Spring Hill, NSW.
WHEN. On the weekend
of Saturday
26th to Sunday 27th March 2022.
GETTING THERE. The turn off to Spring
Hill is to the west on Millthopre Road at Shadforth. Shadforth is on
the Mitchell Highway approx. 14km from Orange & 42km from Bathurst.
Follow Millthorpe Road for approx 3.5km & turn right onto Whiley
Road. At approx. 2km turn right into the Recreation Ground just
before the railway line.
CAMPING.
The group will be camping within the grassed area of the grounds.
Your hosts will be arriving on the Thursday morning.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.
If you would like to attend for the weekend please register on the form provided
so your hosts know who is coming. The address of the form can be found within the Australian
CamperTrailers forum in the Upcoming Events section or in the
Australian
CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing 'Spring Hill' into the search this group
window.
ICE BREAKER.
Two weeks before the event an ice breaker will be sent to your
nominated email with up to date information. Please confirm your
attendance.
ON ARRIVAL Please look for Geoff &
Pauline's van so the group can camp in the same location.
CAMPING
FEES. $5 per night per site.
POWER. There are no powered sites.
CAMPFIRES. As it is fire season from
1st October to 31st March no campfires are allowed.
AMENITIES. There are flushing toilets &
one shower per side.
DUMP POINT. There is a dump point
within the grounds.
DRINKING WATER. Drinking water is available.
DOGS are welcome & must be on a lead at
all times & droppings collected.
RUBBISH. Bins are provided.
ACTIVITIES. Please bring a drink & nibbles to the
centre of camper for happy hour on Saturday afternoon at 4.00pm.
LUCKNOW GOLD MINE TOUR. If
you would like to attend a gold mine tour at the nearby town of
Lucknow on Saturday between 10am & 12noon, please add your
numbers to the attendance form. The tour is free but we need a
total of twenty people for it to go ahead.

Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper
trailer are more
than welcome to attend & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
