OUR HOSTS for the weekend
will be Gregory J & Angela.
WHERE. 'The Gorge Camping Reserve' near Aratula in SE Queensland.
WHEN. On the weekend of Saturday 19th to Sunday
20th July 2014.
GETTING THERE. From Brisbane turn left off the Cunningham Highway
into Charlwood Road at around 900 metres from the center of Aratula. After
2.5 km turn right into Gorge Road. Follow this road for a short distance until you see the entrance.
THE ROAD.
Gorge Road is graded dirt & suitable for two
wheel drive vehicles.
CAMPING. We
will be camping on a grassy tree studded area beside the creek.
NAME TAGS.
If you have a name tag please bring it along.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. Please add your name to the
form provided. The address of the form can be found in message
80943 within the
CamperTrailers
Yahoo Group or in the
CamperTrailers forum under the Upcoming Events heading.
ICE BREAKER.
An ice breaker email will be sent to your
nominated email address two weeks before the weekend. Please confirm your
attendance.
CAMPING FEES. $4 per person per night
is payable to the owners on arrival.
WATER. Please
bring your own drinking water.
CAMPFIRES.
Please bring your own firewood. Firewood can also be purchased near the
campsite.
TOILETS.
There are flushing toilets.
SHOWERS. There is a donkey fed 'bucket shower'.
DOGS. Dogs
are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times..
HAPPY HOUR.
Please bring a plate & a drink along for happy hour at 3pm
Saturday afternoon.

Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together. If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
