Hi,
Just had a kitchen (pull out kitchen & pantry) installed in the CUB camper trailer.
So, question is, while driving to your camp destination, does one store all the food
in the camper pantry from when you leave home, or do you carry all your food in
the car until you arrive at your camp destination, and then transfer it all into the
camper pantry ? Curious as to what other campers do? Feel like a bit of a dill even
asking the question, but my wife and I got into a bit of a heated debate about this
topic.
(PS, I say carry all the food in the the camper trailer pantry right from the start)

Hi Murray. I would agree that putting the supplies in the pantry before starting out makes a lot of sense. But there will always be the last minute stuff which would go in the car. So you are both right. Peace.

I keep many items in the pantry permanently and top up as I use. Fresh items added before I leave and removed once back home. All adds to reducing set up and pack up times.

Hi Murray,
We usually just top up the pantry before we leave home with what we have used last trip. All our food stays in the camper.
One side of the camper is food storage http://www.robcaz.net/newcanvas2.JPG
while the other is the kitchen http://www.robcaz.net/newcanvas3.JPG
which is easy accessible for roadside stops too http://www.robcaz.net/newcanvas19.jpg
Depending on how much room you have you may find it easy to keep the fruit & veges in the back of the car with the fridge.
