Hi all,
The all Australian made Shippshape rooftop tents are now being manufactured again http://www.campertrailers.org/shippshape.htm
New owner Mark Allen who purchased the business about twelve months ago said they will continue to follow the original design, but have made some minor changes in construction which offer improved ventilation for summer camping.
Mark went on to say to offer as low a price as possible, we will not have a shop front & at this stage wont be attending shows.
happy camping

Re: Shippshape rooftop tents are back
We came across a Shippshape rooftop camper on an Holden EJ Holden ute, in 1982 in Bundaberg at the river bank c.van park right next to the bridge in town. We were sold by the concept, but at the time they were $2000 each, so were not financial for them then. But loved them, and glad they are still going today. They I believe were the original designer for Roof Top tents at the time.
