what and what not to buy??

Hi everyone,

I am looking at buying my first off-road camper trailer for a 12 month stint around australia next year. Budget is pretty tight and wont be spending more than $5k.

What brands/makes/things should I stay away from??

I have done a lot of research and reading but still want some more info. I am keen to get aussie made.

I have seen some cavalier, cameron canvas types floating around which i like the look of.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

You may need to carry out a lot of research to find a good Australian made camper trailer for $5k (even second hand).

Then you have to allow for any modifications you may require...

What type of trailer are you looking for? How many in your party? Are you going "off road" or sticking to the major roads?
