wandering home from the national meet

Post by robcaz » Mon Oct 24, 2016 7:32 pm

Hi all,

We had a fantastic time wandering home after the national meet exploring along the Great Dividing Range in the company of Robyn & Lindsay. I have so far made up a couple of photo pages on our website of
Abercrombie River National Park http://www.robcaz.net/abercrombie_river.htm
& also of Kanangra-Boyd National Park http://www.robcaz.net/kanangra-boyd.htm

The two parks had some interesting 4wd low range trail driving towing the campers that certainly kept us on our toes at all times. These trails should only be tackled by experianced drivers with suitably equipped vehicles having high ground clearance & self recovery gear.

There are some trails with 'no trailers signs' on them that we did not drive & after finding youtube video I would have to agree. The photos do not do justice showing just how steep sections of the tracks really are.
happy camping
