We are looking for a light weight (TARE less than 1000kg) Rear Fold off road camper trailer.
Prefer it to be simple in design, still an improvement over our roof top tent.
So far only found two; the Mars Vanguard and a Outback Sam 720 and 690.
Any others? Thank you.

Re: need help looking for a light weight rear fold camper
Cub by far is the best choice going around in the market place for a light weight rear fold camper either new or used.
Really...they are.
Cub are very underated, they do not have all the "Bling" that some of the other rear fold imported stuff has...some of their models are very basic...but you can add and modify them to your taste and budget.
One of the best thing about Cubs...heaps of spares..as they use Ford or Holden bearings and hubs...leaf springs on some models...so you can get parts from ANY reputable auto place on the Australian continent.
The Canvas is Australian...either Bradmill or Wax Converters...depending on age or model...so they can be matched or repaired by any canvas bloke who knows what they are doing.
My partners uncle had a very basic Cub Kamperoo...took it around Australia 8 times...visited every nook and cranny in South Australia and Queensland for over 25 years...in those years...1 bearing and 1 flat tyre..that's it.
There are plenty to choose from in the second hand market...there are some that come up on the Australian Camper Trailer trader site...but check on the caravancampingsales.com as well...there are bargains to be had..
Good Luck
