community day

The day started with members of the Mendooran Men's Shed cooking breakfast with a few Australian CamperTrailers Group members volunteering to help out.  

Then it was into town to visit the Country Women's Association building with many homemade treats on offer, open businesses & several community street stalls, a display by the SES & a vintage car display by Coonabarabran Car Club.

George Mavros hosted the annual Hardy's Vs Softy's bolle competition with the perpetual Nyngan Cup up for grabs. In a hotly contested final the hard floor camper trailer team of Steven & Karen Wray defeated the soft floor team of Graham & Margaret Marr.

A social game of barefoot bowls was held in the afternoon at the Mendooran Bowling Club followed by the evening meal at the Mendooran/ Merrygoen Memorial Club cooked by the Mendooran Men's Shed.
