community day

The day started with members of the group volunteering to cook breakfast. A profit of $430 was donated to the Eugowra Flood Appeal.

During the morning Phoebe Shumack hosted a Finska competition with Heather Spring winning.

George Mavros hosted the annual Hardy's Vs Softy's bolle competition with the perpetual Nyngan Cup up for grabs. In a hotly contested final the hard floor camper trailer team of Karen Wray & Phil Thompson defeated the soft floors.

A social game of barefoot bowls was held in the afternoon at the Eugowra Community Bowls & Recreation Club. Afterwards most stayed on for an evening meal. Seventy pizzas were pre-ordered from the nearby Escort Rock Cafe. A big thank you to Judd McKenna & his staff for cooking & delivering the pizzas. To avoid handling coin change the cost of pizzas were rounded off to $20 with profits donated to the Eugowra Flood Appeal.
